With this update, KESS3 introduces the possibility to work in both OBD and BENCH modes, providing two connection methods for reprogramming Continental UTCU3 TCUs. OBD management is also available with Powergate.
DQ381 GEN2 TCUs are fitted to numerous Audi, Cupra, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen applications, with 1.4, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0 TSI/TFSI and 1.6, 2.0 and 3.0 TDI engines from 2012 to today.
KESS3 and Powergate further expand their coverage for Ford EcoBlue engines with the release of the new Full OBD protocol, dedicated to Continental SID212 and SID212 EVO ECUs.

KESS3 expands its coverage of Isuzu heavy-duty vehicles, from 2006 models to the most recent applications produced after 2019.
Installed on 1.8 and 2.0 TSI and TFSI EA888 turbo petrol engines from 2010, Continental SIMOS18.X ECUs can now also be managed in BENCH mode, in addition to the already supported OBD and BOOT modes.
BOOT mode enables full access to the Delphi DCM7.1P, installed on Fiat, Peugeot and RAM Trucks pick-ups equipped with 2.2 BlueHDi diesel engines from 2024. It operates directly on the ECU for advanced repair operations and optimization of engine management.
With the new BOOT support for the Continental DC4 GEN II TCU, already available in OBD and BENCH mode, you can now access the transmission electronics directly with the highest level of operability.
Development dedicated to the motorcycle segment continues with the introduction of BENCH mode support for Delphi MT05.2 ECUs, installed on a wide range of models with engines from 250cc to 800cc from 2015 onwards.
